Southwest Colorado Canyons Alliance fosters awareness and appreciation of the landscape and cultural heritage of Canyons of the Ancients National Monument through collaboration with the Bureau of Land Management.

We want to share two important upcoming events that give you the opportunity to show support for our public lands and engage with local leaders. These events have been organized by our community, and we encourage you to attend if you are able.

Rally Round Public Lands

📍 Choose One of Three Locations to Start

• Mesa Verde National Park – 35853 Road H.5
• Dolores Public Lands Office (BLM & USFS) – 29211 Highway 184
• Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum – 27501 Highway 184

📍 Everyone Gathers Together at One Location

🕛 12:00 p.m.

• Intersection of Highways 160 & 184 in Mancos (Meet north of Mancos Liquor)

This is a rally of support, NOT a protest. Signs will be provided—please do not bring your own.

Coffee with the County

📅 Monday, March 24, 2025
🕙 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
📍 BOCC Meeting Room – 109 W Main Street, Room 250

This is a chance to listen and engage with Montezuma County elected officials about the future of our public lands. A spokesperson will speak on behalf of attendees—please refrain from speaking individually or bringing signs.
