Half Day Sand Canyon-July 13

If we have enough participants sign up, you will be added to the tour and then payment can be made. The price will be determined by the number of participants but will be no more than $45 per person. Members will receive a 20% discount! Waitlist registration closes July 9th.

1. Meet at Sand Canyon Trailhead on Road G in McElmo Canyon. Hike three miles into the canyon to view and discuss the various cliff dwellings within the canyon. Hike three miles back to the car. (Allow 4 hours)

2. Continue down McElmo Canyon and stop at rock art sites near Rincon and Ismay Trading Post. Shorter walks here (Allow  1 1/2 hours)

Our tour guide, Ken Boucher,  will provide history and information on each of these sites as you proceed.
